Fort Worth, Texas - Guadalupe Soto Mercado Sr., 90 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022 at All Saints Catholic Church. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Mount Olivet Chapel (Sandburg Suite). Rosary: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022 at All Saints Catholic Church.
Lupe was born on March 26, 1932 to Roman P. and Atilana S. Mercado. He spent most of his life as an entrepreneur mainly investing in real estate, and enjoyed carpentry work. He enjoyed golfing and wood-working. He lived life to the fullest being amongst family and friends.
Preceded in death by his Wife of 53 years, Febe L. Mercado; daughter, Estella Rhodes; sister, Maria, Antonia, Cayetana, Josefina; and brothers, Joaquin, Benito, Roman and Antonio.
Survivors: Daughters, Leticia (Roel), Atilana (Miguel); sons, Tito, and Ricardo; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Lupe was the last surviving member of the Soto Mercado family line.
