Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. He will be interred next to his father, Harlan Simmons, who preceded him in death Dec. 25, 1991.
David was born April 1, 1967. He was employed at Centex Home Equity as a reconveyance officer.
Survivors: His favorite pet, Rascal, a 2-year-old boxer-lab mix; his partner and soulmate, Allen Link of Dallas; mother and stepfather, Sharon and Bruce Parker; brother, Michael Simmons and wife, Angela, and their children, Jordan, Rose, Noah and Zacchaeus; and sister, Tammi Mitchell and her children, Zachery Parrott and Isabella Hasty.
