Harold Comeans Obituary

Harold Arthur "Pood" Comeans Jr., 75, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014. No services will be held. Memorials: Brain Injury Association of America, Box 7416, Merrifield, Va. 22116. He was born in Obetz, Ohio, on Dec. 3, 1939, to the late Harold Sr. and Gladys Comeans. He was a longtime resident of Grove City and retired from The Ohio State University, where he worked in security. He was a 1957 graduate of Grove City High School and a proud veteran of the Air Force and Navy. While in the Air Force, he served as an MP. He was a former member of the Church of God in Burleson, Texas. Harold enjoyed playing guitar, harmonica, crossword puzzles, fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and Robert Comeans. The family would like to thank the compassionate staff of the Monterey Care Center and Gentiva Hospice for their tender care that they provided Harold. Survivors: Children, Kevin Comeans (Gina), Kenneth Comeans (Layla), Keri Davila (Daniel) and Ember Yackey (Paul); seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Philip (Claudia), Harry (Judy), Robin (Sandra) and Gregory; sisters, Nancy Justus, Jeri Chase and Gisele Comeans; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
