Harry Eddas Obituary

Harry Eddas, 71, passed away at home on Monday, Dec. 21, 2009.
Celebration of life: A celebration of Harry’s life will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at Cross Timbers Winery, 805 N. Main St., Grapevine.
Harry was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on June 25, 1938, as the only child to Vaughnie Belle and Raymond Eddas. Harry graduated from Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, Calif., Occidental College and University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
While working for Bechtel and Fluor construction companies, he worked in Los Angeles, Darwin (Australia), Indonesia and Hong Kong. He also lived in New York, Boston, Nashville, Chattanooga and Dallas working as a CPA, specializing in finance.
Harry traveled the world and loved meeting new people and experiencing life to the fullest. Although he just recently moved to Grapevine he loved the city, especially the Grapevine Senior Center and his lunch buddies.
Survivors: Harry is survived by his lifelong companion, Margaret Meharg, who will miss him more than words can say.

It's hard to believe that he is gone. I miss him more than I could have ever imagined.
He showed me the world and was the one I turned in saddeness and happines. The one person I knew would have the answer. I loved him so.
