Heather Holland Obituary

Heather Michelle Holland WILLOW PARK -- Heather Michelle Holland, 38, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest and entered heaven to be with her lord and savior. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and frienda heavenly angel taken too soon! MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10 a.m. Saturday at Willow Park Baptist Church, 129 S. Ranch House Road, Aledo. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you make a donation of books to a library in Heather's honor. Heather was born Oct. 18, 1979, in Fort Worth, the daughter of Phil and Kathy Miller. She taught at Bose Ikard Elementary most recently, and prior at Saginaw Elementary. Heather graduated from Castleberry High School in River Oaks with the class of 1998, and pursed her degree in education from the University of North, Texas where she graduated in 2003. During her youth Heather was an active member of River Oaks Methodist Church. Heather married her high school sweetheart, best friend and love of her life, Frank Holland on July 24, 2004, after dating for over seven years. They enjoyed going to the ranch, being with friends, and spending precious time together. Their love was unending and their devotion to their family inspiring. Heather was an incredibly amazing, loving, kind, fun spirited, independent, strong-willed woman who loved her family (they meant the world to her.) She was an avid reader and shared this love with her children, her family, and her students. She always taught 'do unto others as you would have done to you', and made sure kindness, manners, and humility were in everything she did (both in words and actions.) Heather so loved her church family at Willow Park Baptist Church where she and Frank took their children to worship and learn God's word, and to help guide them on their Christian journey. Heather was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Robert and Gladys (Pink Granny) Miller, Aileen (Granny) and Buryl (PawPaw) Harris; and father-in-law, Charles (Yoyo) Holland. SURVIVORS: Adoring husband, Frank D. Holland; two beautiful children, Heidi Beth and Dayton Ray Holland; wonderful parents, Phil and Kathy Miller; and sweet mother-in-law, Frances Holland; many cherished family members: sister, Sarah Arnold and husband, Kevin; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl Fitzpatrick, Cindy and Jeff Nieland; beloved nephews and niece, Ty and Brady Arnold, Alyssa and Alec Fitzpatrick and Taylor and Dayton Loyd; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Her husband would like to thank everyone for their condolences and sympathy as this time has been extremely hard for everyone, especially their children. Heather would want to remind us all these powerful words from her favorite quotes: "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched they must be felt with the heart." - Helen Keller; "It is our choices that show what we truly are far more than our abilities;" and "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light." J.K. Rowling

Our hearts just break for your family. So sudden, so unnecessary, so very tragic. Our family prays for the peace and comfort of your family. Hold on tightly to each other. Trust Jesus with your heart. Pour out your sorrow to Him and allow Him to comfort you like only He can. We pray that as the weeks, months and years pass, He will bring fond memories to mind for you to cherish in your heart always. Cling to the hope of our faith - as believers, you will see her again one day, she and Jesus will welcome you with open arms. Until then may you find purpose in sharing Jesus with others to honor Heather and glorify Him who gave her salvation and eternal life. Our deepest sympathies for your loss.
