I would like to pay tribute to a fine doctor/friend. Dr. Brooks delivered my twins back in 1964 which at the time was a surprise to both he and I. I have often thought of him with the warm place he left in my heart. I will always remember his special way he treated his patients. He was a credit to his profession. He will always be remembered by all who's lives he touched. May God Bless and Keep all of you. I just found out about Dr. Brooks in the paper! Certainly would have been there to honor a man I love so and had 5 children with him by my side. Love all of you and will love him forever for Mom and Dad too! He was our Hero.

Dr. Brooks has been a dear friend as well as doctor to my dad and mom for many, many years. I told my children that God had used Dr. Brooks to keep Daddy with us for all of these years. Our prayers are with your family at this time.

To the family of Dr. Brooks: I fell in love with Dr. Brooks at the ripe old age of 6 years old. He was John Wayne to me. He always made me laugh. I don't ever recall being afraid to go see him. After I was grown and moved from the area, I would always return to him for "serious" consultations, when "newer" doctors were not trusted. He had God given common sense. Something sorely missed in the medical field today. I cried when I heard. We all loved him so much. I am sorry I didn't tell him. May his humor remain in your hearts forever.

I just learned of Uncle Jim's death from a Bishop relative. I am so sorry for your loss. I have the fondest childhood memories of him as well as all of you. It is my hope and prayer that your precious memories of time spent with him will help ease the pain of his loss. I truly love all of you and regret we have drifted apart. Love, Marilyn
