James Cantrell Obituary
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Candy was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Mansfield to Rue Finnie and Charles Cantrell. He was a 29-year resident of Fort Worth and 10 years at Holly Lake Ranch.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ellen Lambert; and brother, Theo Cantrell.

Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Flora Mae Cantrell; daughters, Cynthia Cary and husband, Glenn, Robin Brillante and Sheri Bennett and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Kyle and Justin; great-grandson, Blain; brother, Weldon "Dutch" Cantrell; sister, Floy Graham; best friends, James and Mary Tipps; and numerous nieces and nephews.

I have lots of memories of Uncle Candy. He loved to tease me. When I was a child he would tease me they had a milk cow because I wondered why they had milk stools.
They always had weenie dogs. I have lots of fun memories.

I was so sad to read about the passing of your dad. It made me think of the old days on Gary Lane - the skate boards he made for us, going to softball games, and the early Christmas visits! Your family holds a dear place in my childhood memeories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
