James Gondek Obituary

James Patrick "Jim Pat" Gondek, 53, a print shop manager for Texas Refinery Corp., died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Jeff Gondek Memorial Scholorship Fund - Cassata Learning Center, 1400 Hemphill, Fort Worth, Texas 76104.

Mr. Gondek was a lifelong-area resident. He graduated from Haltom High School in 1966 and was married to Sherry L. Jordan on July 24, 1970. He was an avid golfer, a member of Willow Springs Golf Club and was formerly associated with the Lake Worth Youth Association as an officer and coach. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to many.

Mr. Gondek was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Gondek, on May 26, 2000, and by his parents, John and Eileen Gondek.

Survivors: His wife of 3l years, Sherry L. Gondek of Fort Worth; daughter, Stacie Warnock and her husband, Kevin, of Fort Worth; brothers, Steve Gondek and his wife, Guinn, of Tyler, Denis Gondek and his wife, Gail, of Fort Worth and Danny Jordan and his wife, Donna, of Calvert; and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
