I just found out about Coach Price...and am so sorry to hear about his passing. His smile was infectious and he was a true source of happiness. I hope he knew how much he was loved by his past and present students. I know my mom, who taught with him, truly thought of him as a good friend and a wonderful person. Rest in Peace Coach Price. We will love and miss you. Hugs from Kris Herbranson and family.

Coach Price was the best I had him in P.E. when I was Young Junior High and I love his laughter and his inspiring thoughts and wisdom and he helped me in life today. He will be dearly missed. I also liked when he would dress up for Halloween and at Christmas time he made laugh a lot of times.

We said goodbye to one of the world's greatest yesterday, Jim Price. He encouraged, taught, supported, laughed and cried with all the folks lucky enough to know him. My children never had him as a teacher, but were both so sad to hear of his passing. Both commented on how nice he always was to them. You were one of a kind, Jim. Well done, good and faithful servant. The world is not as bright without your amazing spirit!

I remember Jim Price in high school as the guy who was everyone's friend. A true compass person who really did care about people.

Coach Price was one of my first school coaches in 7th grade football and 9th grade basketball at Young Junior High in the early 1980s when the school was brand new and he was new to the area. He was very energetic, friendly and knowledgeable about sports, especially basketball which he loved, and always made it fun (except when we had to run lines!). I specifically remember his great sense of humor, upbeat personality and his knack for making great trick shots from just about anywhere on the court. RIP, Coach Price.

I knew James as Jimmy at James Bickley Elementary School and I will always remember his smile. He always seemed happy and he had the blondest hair. He was always into sports.

I will miss all his knowledge about about any sport and all the great days we had playing golf. He was one of the best, compassionate, always upbeat, and I will miss talking to him on a regular basis. He was a close friend and I already miss him. Heaven has a great addition, because he is there.
