James Stoker Obituary

James L. Stoker, 81, No. 1 husband and dad, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008.
Service: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
James was born Jan. 12, 1927, in Johntown to Lewis and Geneva Stoker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from BNSF in 1983. James was the family comic and storyteller.

Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Wanda; daughter, Teresa Norris and husband, Phill; son, Rickey Stoker and wife, Karla; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.
