Not sure what to say?

Mom,

How fast the years do go by, as you once told me. You taught me so much in life but most of all you taught me how to laugh and have fun in spite of what life throws at you.
I will miss our talks and will miss laughing with you. When I was a teenager it was never a drag to hang out with you. My friends called you “the cool mom” and you were. You walked a great balance between being a parent and being my friend. I hope that Anthony and Victoria can say the same thing about me someday.
Holidays will be empty without you but Lyndi and I will always celebrate your memory when we are together.
The kids loved you so much and forever will. When I look at Victoria I will always see a reflection of you.
I never thought I could have the strength to stand by your side and watch you pass from this world to the next. For the past three years I watch cancer steal your smiles and your laughs, granted we had moments when we all could laugh and smile together but usually the smiles would fade as I knew the pain was great. What a blessing it was for Lyndi and me to see you smile at the moment you passed from this world. Thank you for letting that be our final memory of you. I know for fact that you are now with Grandmom and Papa and all our past loved ones and that brings me great peace and abundant joy.
I will spend the rest of my life honoring your memory and striving to be the son you always made me feel proud to be. Thank you for always having my back and being by strongest supporter.
Just like always…..
save me a seat…y’all don’t start without me, I’ll be there as soon as I can but I have work to do and I’ll be a little late. Tell Grandmom and Papa I love them and save me a piece of cake.

I love and miss you,

John

You and I may wonder why God took her home. But she doesn't. She is at this very moment, at peace in the presence of God.

O, God, rest eternal grant to Janice and may your light perpetual shine upon her. May her soul through your mercy rest in peace.

O, Father, we give you heartfelt thanks for the good examples of Janice's children, John and Lyndi, who having finished their course, fulfilled their obligation in love, honor and duty. We ask now they find rest and fulfillment. Refresh their hearts in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

John and Ambre,

My thoughts and prayers go out to you both during this time. I know this has been a long struggle for Janis and if it can be at all comforting it is nice to know that she is with our Lord and Savior now. May your memories of the time she was here on earth be filled with joy and happiness.
