Jaquitta Putman Obituary

Jaquitta "Jodi" Mauzee Putman, 77, passed away Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.
Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, in White's Azle Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment: Jay Bird Cemetery following service.
Jodi was born July 31, 1932, in Atoka, Okla., daughter of the late John "Barney" Bonner and Ura Lee Stewart. As a child, she grew up in Azle with her parents and eventually moved to Springtown, where she pursued a career as a nursing home administrator. Her passion was in helping the sick and elderly. She retired from Lake Worth Nursing Home.
Survivors: Siblings, Glen and Monroe Stewart, Darlin Ford and Vertie Howe; daughter and son-in-law, Lauran and Tommy Inman of Fort Worth; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Willcox and wife, Jean, of Fort Worth and John and Martha Putman of Sache; grandchildren, Amber Moore and husband, Dane, Brandon Willcox, Kyle Willcox and April Putman; and great-grandchildren, Myah, Jade and Emma Willcox.

I met and worked with Jodi at the Lake Worth Nursing Home. She was dedicated and caring to all. Her kindness has made a difference to so many.
