Jason Griffith Obituary

Jason Thomas Griffith, 49, of Mansfield, Texas, sadly passed away at home on November 12, 2025. He fought a tough battle with cancer, and even though he was in remission, the treatments took a toll.

Born in Newark, Ohio, on November 23, 1975, to Diane and Jerry Griffith, Jason's early years were spent in Ohio. The family moved to Arlington, Texas, in 1983, where he grew up and called home. He graduated from Nolen High School in 1994 and attended Texas Wesleyan University.

Jason was engaged to his fiancé, Amy Lynn Karamol, and they were busy planning their future together in Granbury, Texas. He'll also be greatly missed by several cousins, aunts, and uncles back in Ohio.

Jason loved the simple things in life. Whether he was watching soccer or tennis, following Ohio State, or enjoying his baseball cards he passionately collected, those were the things that really made him happy, as well as the family puppy dogs, Smoky, Lizzy, and Annie.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Diane (Brutchey) Griffith and his extended family in Ohio. Jason will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held in Newark, Ohio, sometime in the future. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local animal shelter in his name.
