Jerry Poole Obituary

Jerry B. Poole LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Jerry B. Poole, 74 passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017, in Phoenix, Ariz., surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Mansfield. Jerry was born in Erwin, N.C. on May 27, 1943 to Bervin and Helen Snipes Poole. Jerry graduated from Pecos High School in Pecos, Texas, in 1962. He was employed at Continental Airlines and later started the Alamo-El Paso Shuttle and the J&A Shuttle in Alamogordo, N.M. He was preceded in death by his sister, Saundra Jennings. Jerry never met a stranger, he loved people and anyone who would listen to his stories. He loved his family, his friends and playing golf. He will be missed by many. SURVIVORS: Jerry is survived by his wife, Nancy; his sons, Jerry (Jessica) Poole Jr., Eastvale, Calif. and Adam Poole, Las Cruces, N.M.; mother, Helen Sims, Mansfield; brothers, Donald (Karen) Poole, Mansfield, and Barry (Gayle) Poole, Blanco; step-children, Rick (Lori) Sheffer, Julie (Kevin) McCormack, Mansfield; Jerry (Amber) Sheffer, Indianapolis, Ind. 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Half-sisters, Michelle (Roger) Gillenwater, Kingsport, Tenn. and Danielle (George) Watson, Easley, S.C.
