It's been at least 45 years since I last saw Johnny Fenton. But, in my minds eye, I can still see that precious little boy with no front teeth, such a huge grin on his face. John & his older sisters & I were in the children's home together. He was such an endearing child. I'm sure he grew up to be the same kind of man. It's with great sadness that I should read about Johnny in the obits after all these years. He will forever be in my mind as the little boy from TCCH that everyone loved so much.

My thoughts & prayers go out to the children & the rest of the family of John Fenton. May God Bless you all.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Hello all that may read this. I AM Uncle Johnny's favorite niece. And he IS my favorite man in the world. He is known to most of us as Big Johnny. He was not a big man, but had a big heart. Uncle Johnny was a good man. He liked cheesecake at Thanksgiving, even when Kimberlie mixed salt instead of sugar. He had coffee with Grandma most mornings even when she would sleep through most or all of the conversation. He took care of others before himself. He was truly a good man. I will miss you Uncle Johnny.

You went to gram's on her day, Mother's Day, you are truely the favorite of all!!

Even though John was my brother-in-law, I've always thought of him as my brother. He married my sister when I was 4 years old, and he has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. He was one of the most patient and generous people I have ever met, and he will be missed by so many.

It's been a long,long time since

our childhood years at the Tarrant

County Childrens home. Sometimes it

seems like it was just yesterday,

however, time goes on, lives change

and lifes end comes far too soon.

May God continue to give you strength and hope for a brighter

tomorrow. Philippians 4:7
