He had a heart of gold and he acknowledged me everytime we met each other with a handshake, a big smile and always concerned about my family. I had the very fortunate pleasure of first meeting John Bennett when he was 12 years old. The last time I saw him was Christmas Eve 2018. He always exuded a positive spirit even throughout his transition. John Bennett loved his God, his family, and his friends.,,in that order. It was no surprise to see encouraging posts on Facebook even as he was enduring and pressing forward. One of a kind! Feeling blessed to have known him and I'm very happy for the memories of his life and his transitioning to a pain-free and much more peaceful place of rest! Live on John in the lives you've touched You fought a good fight. You finished the race. Rest in the arms of God. Pretty sure that's a favorite spot for you! Will love you and miss you forever, brother-in-law!
