John Sesnick Obituary

John N. Sesnick, 88, died on Friday, July 4, 2008, after a long illness.
Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Memorials: Vitas Hospice Care at Baylor All Saints Hospital, 1400 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76104 or charity of choice.
John was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. to Lawrence and Agnes Sczesniak. He was a veteran of World War II and honorably served as a Marine in the South Pacific. After service to his country, John began his 32-year career as a tool designer at LTV, where he was involved in many projects, including development of the B-2 bomber.
John was a life member of Elks Lodge 124, a longtime member of the Metro and Tanglefoot Dance Clubs, and member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Following his marriage to Edythe Green Sesnick more than 21 years ago, he immediately became a beloved member of her extended and loving family and they shared many happy memories together.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff of Vitas Hospice Care for their dignified and caring treatment of John and his family during his final days.
John was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and his late wife, Edith Schmidt Sesnick.
Survivors: Loving wife, Edythe; daughter, Jeanette Lee and husband, Bob of Millsap; stepsons, Steven Green and wife, Annie and Tim Green; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Lee of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Sophie Kelly of Williamsport, Pa.

Dear Edythe & Jeanette,

I'm sorry to hear of Uncle John's passing. I know the pain and hurt you are going through. I talked to Aunt Sophie and she said "all the boy's are gone now". It's now just her and Aunt Helen. I pray God will comfort you all and HIS peace will be with you through this very diffcult time.Your in my Prayers,
