John E. J. Walsh
Oct. 24, 1949 - May 28, 2010

John E. J. Walsh, 60, of Farmington, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010, in Farmington. He was born Oct. 24, 1949, in East Orange, N.J. to John and Celia Walsh.
John moved to San Juan County in 1978. He married the love of his life, Carole Certisimo, on his birthday, in Parsippany, N.J., and passed away on his wife's birthday.
John was a self-made business man and owned J.C. Communications, Inc. He provided for his family and lived the soulful blues. He loved fly fishing, hunting, photography, Fat Boy Motorcycles and motorcycle riding. He flew airplanes and drove race cars.
John is survived by his wife, Carole; daughters, Leah, Dana, and Diana; brother, James; and sister, Sharon. Also surviving are two grandchildren, McKenzie and Jackson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., today, June 2, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave. in Farmington, with Father Gil Mangampo as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave. in Farmington.
