Fort Worth, Texas - Jose Olguin, 69, a retired construction worker, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the loving presence of his family. After suffering all his adult life with mental illness, he passed due to heart failure.
Jose was born March 19, 1953, in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mx. At a young age of 12, he moved to Fort Worth and later became a US citizen in the year of 2000.
Jose was a loving son, brother and uncle to his family. He loved his Texas Ranger baseball, his mariachi music, his violin, played his guitar, sketching, collecting coins, stamps, currency collection from different countries, a good video/photographer and pawn shopping.
Jose is preceded in death by his mother, Elvira O. Perez; father, Santos Perez; and sister, Angelita O. Perez.
Survivors: Uncle Felix Lara, Tamaulipas, Mex.; Sisters, Mary (Richard) Castro, Martha (Jesus Guerrero) Perez, Theresa O. (Ramiro) Salazar and Petra Perez all from Fort Worth; Brothers, Santos (Amy) Perez Jr. of Grand Prairie and Armando Perez from Fort Worth. He had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. You will forever be in our hearts.
Visitation: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Rosary: 6:30 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Amalla Funeral Home.
Funeral at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Amalla Funeral Home in Fort Worth followed by procession to Greenwood Cemetery, 3100 White Settlement Rd for Graveside service.
