Just thought I would acknowledge Aunt Joyce would have been 74 this year with the passing of her birthday Sept. the 12th... She is still terriably missed and not a day goes by that I don't think of her...Her memory is always in my heart and on my mind.... Lets not forget her and the life she led...She has a legacy of kindness and giving that we all need to keep on doing in our own personal lives....

My relationship with Aunt Joyce was a very special one. She was like a mother to me. I could always talk to her about anything.
She was always there for me and always loved me unconditionally.
She was truley one of a kind. She was very much loved and will be very deeply missed. The bright light she always shined on everyone here on earth will now brightly shine in Heaven. She truly had a heart as big as Texas.
Her love and the kindness she showed throughout her life will be a example to all of us. Hopefully each one of us can take some of the good things she did in her life and apply them to our own.
I remember one of the things she use to tell me when life got me down and things were rough. "You need to just pull yourself up by your boot straps and go on". I sure that is what she would want us all to do now in this very sad time. Goodbye Aunt Joyce I love you very very much!!!!

My fondest memories were spending time visiting with her on trips to Fort Worth. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and accepted.

May God's grace and comfort be experienced in this time of grieving. May those who do not have a personal relationship with God experience Christ's saving grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Joyce and I went to high school together at Northwest High School. We were two Haslet originals still living in Haslet. We talked not very long ago. Sorry to hear about her death.
