Kim Coates Obituary

Kim Talbot Coates, 52, passed away at home Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, surrounded by his family.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Kim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was dedicated to his work, and he loved sports and music. Spending time with his children and grandchildren was one of his favorite pastimes. He was a man with a big heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, K. Coates, and his mother, Joy Coates.
Survivors: Wife of 22 years, Terisa Coates; sons, Shane Judd and wife, Margaret, and Kale Coates; daughters, Amber Hutson and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Brayden and Sydney; brothers, Ricky Coates and wife, Kim, and Greg Coates; sister, Andrea Greenfield and husband, Mike; nephews, Ian, Rick and Riley; and nieces, Jennifer, Allison and Angela.

Uncle Kim was an integral part of the Coates family and will be deeply missed. My sincerest thoughts to Teresa, Kale, Amber and Shane. Sorry I could not have personally been there to express my grief. Ricky Jr.
