Well, Kyle. It's been a very long month, and I never realized how much I would miss you. I haven't stopped thinking about you, day and night, and have been able to spend more time with Huerta, Mel and Miss V, and I thank you for that. I'm sorry I wasn't around more, but, I hope you knew how much you meant to me and to everyone else that was blessed to know you. I know you are looking down on us, and watching over us, and I try to remember you're happy now, hopefully happier than you've ever been. They say that Heaven is what you want it to be, so, I'm sure you're right in the middle of the Hill Country with your friends with you, and waiting for the rest of us to join you. Until that time, we all will keep your memory and love with us, until we can join you. I Love you and miss you dearly. Always, Cheryl

While we are sad for the loss of our friend, we have hearts full of wonderful memories with Kyle to carry us through. If there is one thing I learned from Kyle it would be to cherish the simple things in life that surround us. His beautiful smile and laughter will be remembered. We love you Kyle and thank you for touching each and every one of our hearts.

I have lost a best friend of 27 years. Kyle was like a brother to me. He was my buddy that could make me laugh, tell funny stories, talk about the current events or just take a road trip down to the Texas Hill Country that he so much loved. We had so much in common, the love of our family, friends and just being a Proud Texan. To Barbara and the family Thank You for inviting me to Oklahoma to say my last goodbuy to a wonderful friend. Like the song says " The nights are long since you went away, I think of you all through the lonely days my buddy, my buddy I'll always be missing you. Love Will and Monette Pemberton

Kyle-My cousin, my friend. We didn't get to see each other very often, but the times we did we usually shared some laughs. The last time I saw him was at Nanny's funeral and now he is up in heaven making her laugh. I wish I could have been there to say good bye in person to him.

A Friend

Texas has lost a cowboy who lived his life to the fullest and was proud to call himself a Texan. Kyle is known for that smile he always seemed to have on his face - the one that appeared before he said "Howdy!" or "You got room for one more?" or "Hi, my name is Kyle Gilley." He was a true believer & lover of country music and if it was from Texas - that just made it all the more better. Kyle Gilley was a good and decent human being and one has to think that he is sitting up in heaven, with his cowboy hat resting on his knee and just smiling as he looks out over all his friends and watching those Texas sunsets from above. I was fortunate to have had Kyle in my life for a short while and I know now that he is at peace and he is happy. Bless you Kyle - you will be missed...

Kyle, you have touched so many lives in the short time that you were here on this earth. May your family find peace in knowing how much you were thought of by so many people. One day we will meet again and I can't wait for you to make me laugh again. In the mean time, I will remember the times we had together. You will be missed!....Kim

Barbara, Please accept my deepest sympathy...I read this young mans obituary and wondered to myself why someone so young died...I did not connect the name of his mother with you, sorry to say...I worked with you at TEC ( no matter what they call it now!) years ago...Again, you will be in my prayers...Rhoda

May god take you and love you the way that so many did. I am writing this for Julie as well. She wished she could pay her respects in person. You were her first boyfriend. We both thought that you were so sweet. You are one of the reasons that I fell in love with the name Kyle for my son. Everyone should be able to be friends with a Kyle Gilley.

May God bless your family, you will be in our prayers.
