Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 3200 Denton Highway. Burial: Mount Olivet's Garden of Memories. Visitation: to follow the committal service at the church.
Memorials: may be made to St. Luke UMC.
Born in Charles City, Iowa, and widowed at 33, she moved her two young sons to Fort Worth to begin a new life. Once here, she designed and helped build her own home while carrying on her husband's love of photography. Her creations of Christmas cards featuring her young sons were a family tradition. Early on, she joined St. Luke United Methodist Church, where she remained a dedicated member of the church choir and a consecrated servant of the Lord for over 50 years. She further devoted her life to your constitutional freedoms by serving as an elections officer and precinct judge for 51 years. In 2002, she was honored by the Tarrant County Commissioners Court for her dedicated service.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Thomas, and her husband, Thomas Duncan Jr. of Glasgow, Scotland.
Survivors: Lolly was survived by her brother, Dr. Bill Logee and his wife, Jane, of Arthur City; and sons, Bill and his wife, Leslie, and Jim and his wife, Janet. She helped raise four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
