Leo Gunter Obituary

Leo Ray Gunter, 67, beloved husband and father, passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, in Arlington.

Memorial service: Family service to be held at a later date in Philipsburg Cemetery, Philipsburg, Pa.

Leo was born May 4, 1939, in Philipsburg, Pa., to Leo Martin and Mildred Copeland Gunter. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Leo was a resident of Arlington for the past 34 years. He worked as a mechanic for Witch Equipment in Fort Worth for over 30 years. Leo was a member of the American Legion in Whitney. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen Gunter, in 1984. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Survivors: Wife, Mary Jo Gunter of Arlington; sons, Jeff Gunter, Tom Gunter and Billy Gunter; brothers, Barry Gunter and Sam Gunter; and sister, Janis Summerson.
