Lillianne Snowden Obituary

Lillianne "Lily" Elizabeth Snowden
July 14, 1994 - April 6, 2023
Fort Worth, Texas - Lillianne Elizabeth Snowden, 28, passed away April 6, 2023.
Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Hulen Street Church, 7100 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, Texas, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, an education fund has been created for, son, Oliver.
Lily was born in Minnesota, and moved to Fort Worth, as a child. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013, while a freshman in college, and working as a barista. Lily fought a long and difficult battle these past 10 years, and was so notably strong and brave. When things were hard, she would always say, "I am fighting for Oliver," and no one can deny that she put her son first in all things. It is hard to say goodbye to someone so young and kind to all she met. For this reason, we must know that we will see her again, through our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Lily was a wonderful artist and creative writer, but above all, her greatest purpose and joy was being the best mother she could be to her precious son, Oliver.
Lily was preceded in death by: Sara "Bebe" Snowden.
Survivors: Her son, Oliver Snowden Bailey and his father, Joshua Bailey, her mother and stepfather, Laura and John Adam, her siblings, Peter, Elizabeth, Sam, Madeleine and Jack and her siblings from Minnesota, Katelyn, Nicholas and Megan. Her loving grandparents, Jimmy Snowden and Ann Rimbey and her aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many cousins and family friends, all dear and supportive.

Lily was a beautiful, loving, kind, strong, unstoppable force of nature who was called home to God. Her art and fire live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Honor her spirit by emulating her strength and love, and love her son as she did, with all her heart.

The name Lily means, "pure and innocent". She was appropriately named, as she was so pure of heart, kind and gentle. I saw her take her first breath and am deeply saddened that she has now taken the last...too early. Sending deepest condolences to all who love her, especially her dear Mama-Laura
