Decatur, Texas - Decatur ~ Linda Lindsey Lajara, 81, went to be with our Lord Friday, December 15, 2023

Memorial Service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Linda was born December 7, 1942 to John and Nell Lindsey in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was united in marriage for 51 years to Felix D. Lajara.

Linda was retired from the dental industry. She was a sister, devoted wife and mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nell Lindsey.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Felix D. Lajara; sister, Kay McGrann; her daughters, Tracy Armstrong Woolley; Lori Lajara White; her sons, Lindsey Armstrong and wife Lisa; David Lajara; Lance Lajara; her 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 nieces.

My memories of Linda are from high school and I loved sharing the role of cheerleader with her. She was always sweet and kind so I want to send my condolences to all the family that is mourning her loss.
Mildred Sumner Bryant - class of 1961 (My best English teacher was her sister Kay McGrann my freshman year.). I know this is a great loss to all of you. (Millie Bryant)
