I just learned of Lou's passing on yesterday from a courier on the Airport. Had I known, I certainly would have attended his service out of respect for one of the nicest persons I've encountered in my lifetime. Lou and Andy were a fixture at American when I began in the customs brokerage business in 1978 and the two of them were the best in the business. They're together again, spreading laughter and cheer. I know that he will be missed so please know that you are in my prayers.

Lou was one of our favorite "characters" at U.S. Customs. Whenever Lou came in, he always had a smile on his face, and put one on ours. Consequently, we always helped him out, and he always helped us out. He was one of the most pleasant people with whom I ever had the pleasure to work.

Lou, you were such a good neighbor and friend. Always smiling and joking with everyone. I'm so glad we had our nice little visit outside on the setee last Wednesday. You looked so good, relaxed and happy. I'm glad I got to know you at various activities. Some Poker Games, Lunch in Dining Room, Group Dinners and most of all our hallway and outdoors little chats. May you Rest in Eternal Peace. God Bless and comfort Lois, Your Children, Grandchildren and family.
