Lucille Hopper Obituary

Lucille Hopper, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013. Service: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Lucille was born March 30, 1931, in Idabel, Okla., to her parents, Willis W. and Eura Mae Ward. Lucille was the oldest of 12. She married Joe Hopper in Fort Worth on Sept. 10, 1977. Lucille was a member of Prairie Lane Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, decorating cakes, and gardening (vegetables and flowers). Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Bobby Joe Hopper. Survivors: Children, Carolyn Sue Soward of Draper, Utah, Chris Ray Kerr of Mansfield and Jenny Lea Lyon of Joshua; grandchildren, Angela, Kevin, Matthew, Christopher, Brandi and Zachary; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; and many other family members and friends.
