Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 301 E. Rosedale. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with a wake from 7 to 8 p.m.
Luis Elautario Marquez was born Oct. 16, 1948, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He was a kind, generous and industrious man. Despite his challenges, Luis shared his happiness with everyone. He loved little children and sports, revered his family and found fulfillment in work. He was a skilled carpenter and handyman, who loved to do a job right. He will be loved forever by those who knew him.
Survivors: Brother, Juan Marquez and wife, Gloria; sister, Norma Marquez-Ross and husband, Wilbert; nieces and nephews, Norma Cruet, Alicia Marquez, Juan Marcano Marquez Lenny Cruet and Tonja Cruet; and many cousins, other relatives and friends.
