My memory doesn´t work well. It was not a balloon Mack took me up in but a helicopter. Mack is important to me and my family because he enabled our escape from Vietnam along with a multitude of other people. His bravery and compassion is exemplary of Christ´s love. He left Vietnam on a last helicopter from the embassy. He was a true Christian hero to whom many are indebted for their very life. May God bless his family!

I was thinking of Mack tonight as I often have. I was coloring a hot air balloon and remembered Mack had taken me up in one. When I usually think of Mack is of our time in Vietnam and all he did. I´m sorry to see he has died. My family and I owe a very great deal to him. He showed love faithfully to all people and he enabled many people to escape from Vietnam including Manh, our daughters and Me. I´ll always be thankful! Blessings on all of you!

Mack was special! He worked with the Vietnamese at Springtown Rd Church of Christ in Weatherford while teaching basic "Chopper" skills and later in Vietnam from 1974 until the last day, April 29, 1975. Mack was loved much by his students and those who met him both in Vietnam and the USA.
I have no fears that Mack is having a ball seeing his relatives as well as his former student pilots.I was there many times and
road out on the evacuation in 1975
just 30 minutes later than him.. He
made a major impact on those he met. God speed Mack... See you in that great chopper in the sky.

With Mack Ledoux's signature in my logbook, I can say that my logbook has been signed by a helicopter legend. I've always enjoyed my annual trip to train with Mack and hear the calming phrase "You're looking good boy, you're looking good!" Thank you Mack for making a new helicopter pilot feel like an old salt...and teaching the old salts something new that can not be found in any helicopter manual.

I remember the first time I saw Mack. He had come to teach at our small church in Çleburne. He was wearing a fur cap that made him look Russian to me. Our friendship with Mack, Peggy, Alicia and the boys was such a blessing to our family. I know he his in the arms of Jesus. Much love to you all in your loss. Come quickly Lord Jesus.

I knew Mack & Alacia from my many trips to the Bell Helicopter Training Division and flew a time or two with Mack. Both he and Alacia were always fun to see and talk to. I retired from FWPD as Chief Helicopter Pilot in 93.

Mac was one of the truly happiest people I've known. He was an inspiration to me as a child, always laughing, always happy. He flew my brother and I in his helicopter when we were young, and he inspired our church to sponsor a refugee family from Viet Nam in the late 1970s. Peggy, Alacia, Myron, my heart goes out to you. I grieve for your loss, and your family is in my prayers.

Ema and I knew Mack and his beautiful family when we all worshiped at Grand Ave Chapel. What wonderful and cherished memories we retain from those happy days. To Peggy, Alacia, Terry, Rick and Myron we extend our heart felt sympathy. Our prayers are with you and the grandchildren and other family members.
Mack was a prince among men, a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, a gentle and kind spirit, he will be greatly missed.

Our family has often wondered about Bro. Mack and his family. We were blessed to have known him and his family while he ministered at Springtown Road Church of Christ. He was a fantastic person, minister and friend. We were very saddened to have read the obituary today. Please accept our deepest sympathy. Sorry that we did not know in time to make arrangements to attend the funeral, but we would love to visit sometime soon. May God bless you all. Maxine Dugan and family

After I retired in 1992 I spent time doing volunteer work in the Eagle Mountain Lake area. We often had lunch @ Harbor One. Often Mack would fly with some of his pilot students for lunch @ Harbor One. He always took the time to let me know what was goingt on @ the plant. Some very enjoyable & appre-ciated times with him. He often included me in humourous discuss- ions of the history of Bell Flight test.
