Not sure what to say?

My memory doesn´t work well. It was not a balloon Mack took me up in but a helicopter. Mack is important to me and my family because he enabled our escape from Vietnam along with a multitude of other people. His bravery and compassion is exemplary of Christ´s love. He left Vietnam on a last helicopter from the embassy. He was a true Christian hero to whom many are indebted for their very life. May God bless his family!

I was thinking of Mack tonight as I often have. I was coloring a hot air balloon and remembered Mack had taken me up in one. When I usually think of Mack is of our time in Vietnam and all he did. I´m sorry to see he has died. My family and I owe a very great deal to him. He showed love faithfully to all people and he enabled many people to escape from Vietnam including Manh, our daughters and Me. I´ll always be thankful! Blessings on all of you!

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Mack was special! He worked with the Vietnamese at Springtown Rd Church of Christ in Weatherford while teaching basic "Chopper" skills and later in Vietnam from 1974 until the last day, April 29, 1975. Mack was loved much by his students and those who met him both in Vietnam and the USA.
I have no fears that Mack is having a ball seeing his relatives as well as his former student pilots.I was there many times and
road out on the evacuation in 1975
just 30 minutes later than him.....

With Mack Ledoux's signature in my logbook, I can say that my logbook has been signed by a helicopter legend. I've always enjoyed my annual trip to train with Mack and hear the calming phrase "You're looking good boy, you're looking good!" Thank you Mack for making a new helicopter pilot feel like an old salt...and teaching the old salts something new that can not be found in any helicopter manual.

We at Bell Helicopter will miss Mack, our sympathy goes out to you at this time. Delton Parker Chaplain U.A.W.218

Dear Sweet LeDoux Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Mack. We have such fond memories of your Dad growing up. He always was so happy and playful to us kids. May God grant you strength and peace in the days to come.
Much love dear friends-
Laurie Maxwell Armstrong

I remember the first time I saw Mack. He had come to teach at our small church in Çleburne. He was wearing a fur cap that made him look Russian to me. Our friendship with Mack, Peggy, Alicia and the boys was such a blessing to our family. I know he his in the arms of Jesus. Much love to you all in your loss. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
