When Margaret arrived in Fort Worth, I was the attorney who was lucky enough to hire her. She worked for me for 14 years at what was then the downtown business. banking, and litigation law firm then known as Godfrey, Decker, McMackin, Shipman, McClane & Bourland through 1991, when we jointly transferred to a different large downtown firm. Margaret was very smart, efficient, helpful, and always a delight to work with. I offer my deepest condolences to Lewis and the other family members.

What a lovely tribute to Margaret. I only recently learned of her passing, and am so sorry for the loss that her family and friends now experience. What a tough road she and her loved ones bravely faced together! Margaret always made me laugh back in the days when I played handbells at Calvary. Those memories of her humor and her beautiful smile are precious.
With sincere sympathy, Diana Williams

Lewis, Matt, and Chevin....this picture of Margaret says it all. She was the most genuine and funniest of anyone I´ve ever had the pleasure of calling a friend. Although life events have only allowed us to see the family every now and then, please know that we are thinking of y´all and celebrating the life she shared with all of us.

We want to express our deepest condolences to my friend Lewis and the entire family. My life changed when Lewis and Margaret moved into our neighborhood, and I was lucky enough to experience Margaret's wonderful sense of humor and her genuine interest in other people. Some people never get to have a friend like Margaret, so I consider myself fortunate to have known her for 30 years! I will always cherish our friendship, and she will be greatly missed. Love Eddie & Vida.

I grieve the loss of my dear friend, Margaret. I never kept a score sheet, but I know of no one who gave me more joy and laughter (right down to bent- over belly laugh with tears).
Margaret was a trusted friend and I cherish all our memories through the decades... and it all started with Chevin and Kim.
So thankful for our friendship... but for now, I grieve the loss of my dear friend Margaret.
Sending our love to you Lewis.
