Mary Moore Obituary

Mary Leater Moore, 88, a retired domestic worker for the Jacqueline Baker family, surrendered this earthly body Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at her home.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Greater Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1600 Effie St., the Rev. Kenneth Sayles officiating. Burial: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Visitation: noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home; the family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. at the church.

She was the former first lady of Greater Canaan Church and worked in the mission, Sunday school and choir.

Survivors: Children, Kenneth Moore and Jackquline Clayton(Anthony); sister, Robbie L. Austin; grandchildren, Dorian Potter, Mary White and Joseph Reeves; great-grandchildren, Alontae, Valarie and Dorian Potter Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
