Mary Thompson Obituary

Mary C. Thompson, 68, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, in Arlington.

Graveside service: 3 p.m. Thursday in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington Funeral Home.

Mary was born May 23, 1933, in Arlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.B. "Red" Thompson; son, Bruce W. Hill; sister, Wanda R. Williams; and brothers, Raymond, Roy and Lee Cantrell.

Survivors: Sons, Tom, Brien, and Mike Hill, all of Arlington, and Bruce Thompson of El Cajun, Calif.; daughters, Brenda Joslin of Arlington, Holly Hollander of La Mesa, Calif., Sally Aleto of Spokane, Wash., Cindy Sewell of Burleson, Lynn Alcala of Fort Worth and Mamie Edwards of Fort Worth; sister, Ruby Beard of Arlington; brothers, Herman Cantrell of Anchorage, Alaska, David Cantrell of Saint Jo, Don Cantrell of Plano and Buster Cantrell of Las Vegas, Nev.; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
