A friend and someone I admired has gone from where I can talk to her when I come home to visit, but I know she is up there watching over us. I'll keep up the conversation occasionally from my end I know I'll have a sympathetic ear, but I'll miss her words of wisdom in response.

Becky,
Your mother recognized that when my father died, I lost not only my dad but also my friend and my hunting partner. I'll always remember her for that.

Melba and I worked together for several years. I was new to nursing and she was my mentor, friend, cheerleader, the list goes on and on. She's in all of our hearts and will forever be part of us. I love you Melba.

I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your Mother. Don't think of her as gone, but just watching from a room with a better view.
