I was thinking about Shane I found out a few years ago he passed away.. I was so surprised. I went to SHSU with him and used to go fishing with him. He loved to fish, no doubt.. Sad to know he passed away so young.

Hearing the loss of my Uncle tore my heart up. He was a wonderful man,and loving father. Whenever he walked into a room it just lit up! His smile and humor were what I will remember most. Over Thanksgiving I was able to go duck hunting with him. It was an experience I will never forget. I am so thankful that I was able to spend time with him before his life was taken. He was the only one that ever cared about me and the achievments in my life. My heart goes out to my cousin Shana. She has grown to be a mature and beautiful adult. He will always be remembered.

I read with a heavy heart about Shane in yesterday's paper. I was so saddened by the news. He was such a special person and I have many memories of the times I was his Summer School teacher and you

all were my neighbors. He was a

wonderful young man and my thoughts

and prayers are with you at this

tough time. May God Bless you and

take care of you.

Dear Gene & Mickie,

Shane was a wonderful father and a great son-in-law. Although we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things, I still loved him. My heart goes out to you both. My heart is also heavy laden. I pray that this wonderful guy rests in peace. We will all miss him a lot. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. God bless you always.

Gene,Mickie,Little Gene and families,

When I heard about Shane, a piece of my heart broke. I've known him for so many years and have always thought of him as one of my kids. I know we haven't spoken in years, but I just felt like I had to talk with you. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I wish I could have been there with you, but by the time I found out, there was no way I could manage to get there in time. Remember I am thinking of all of you and God Bless each of you. Love, Joretta
