I miss Mike. He was a good guy. Fun loving, respectful and somewhat of a prankster to breakup the normal day and provide a bit of humor for all. I just wish the Cowboys had won more for him.

Trish, I was sad to get your phone call the other night. I know that we have not stayed in close touch but you and Mike have had a special place in my heart. I remember the day that I saw ya'll for the first time since your wedding and just hearing us all laugh will be a favorite memory of mine. When you get sad and miss him try to remember all the happy times and I am sure there are many. Sending love and sympathy to you and your family.

My greatest memories of Mike are the pranks he loved to play, how he laughed at everything in life and seemed to be the most laid back person! What I appreciate most are the influences he had on my kiddos, Tyler & Janna... the humor they have been shown through the years is something that's rubbed off into their own souls. Mike was a proud grand-pa, always was proud of these kids, sometimes more then I was. My fondest memories are working at GM with him as well as my own father (Both my father & father in law at my job!!). In spite of the fact Michael Jr. & I divorced years ago, "Big" Mike (as we called him) always treated me the same. I have always respected that about him & have felt more of us need to strive to be like that. The world is definitely a different place with Mike not here in body. We all know he is here in spirit, surrounding us & watching his grand-kids from a different view now. I know so, Tyler & Janna sense him around and that sure puts a smile on my face.

Dear Trisha & Family ~ To say that Mike will be missed is definitely an understatement. After hearing the news yesterday afternoon, we started talking about some of our best Mike memories. Even in our sorrow, we had to chuckle as we talked about his mongoose cage in college, the day he dropped John's room key down the stairwell while John was in the dorm shower, the pranks that were waiting for us in our first apartment when we returned from our honeymoon, and how he would frequently tell the waitor it was John's birthday when we would go out to eat (even though it wasn't) because he knew how embarrassed John would get over those loud birthday productions in restaurants. We suspect there's been an increase of laughter in Heaven these past couple of days. We feel privileged to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, John & Brenda ~ San Antonio, TX
