I served as Mikes co-pilot in the 7th Air Refueling Squadron, Carswell AFB, TX. back in the early 80's. Mikey was a world class aviator and a most excellent Flight Instructor. He was quick to praise and critiqued with a soft hand. He and I traveled a big ol' chunk of the world together and saw things most folks will never see. I already miss the ever present twinkle in his eye and his quick smile and the sound of his laughter. To his children and Pam, he was truly one of the best! jim trapp
