Boyd, Texas - Michael Joseph Valentine, 71, passed away, Friday, November 12, 2021 in Denton. A private memorial honoring Mike will be held by the family and close friends. He was born October 7, 1950 in Dallas to Joseph Wilfred Valentine, Jr. and Annie Janette (Tatum) Valentine. They both preceded him in death along with his brother, Bob Case and son, Michael Joseph Valentine, Jr. Mike served eight years stationed at Whiteman AFB where he worked as a Missile Mechanic He was honored to call himself a Veteran. Mike was very proud of his family and loved being a grandpa. When it came to bragging about all of his grandkids he didn't hold back. He is survived by his children, Hilary (Daniel) Duncan, Shara (Mark) Copeland, Debbie (Bob) Maxon and Jennifer (Ryan) Meals; sister in law, Martha Case; grandchildren, Caitlin (James), Tanner (Jessica), Courtney, Ty (Hunter), Hannah, Trey, Cara, Josie and Camryn; great grandchildren, Callum, Asher, Rowan, Brylee and Boone; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
