October 29, 1959 - April 11, 2025
Sansom Park, Texas - Beloved mother and friend, Michele Joanne (Miller) Dolly, 65, of Sansom Park, passed peacefully on April 11th, 2025, surrounded by loving family.
Born in Glens Falls, New York, on October 29th, 1959 - she was the daughter of late parents John C Miller Sr. and Loanna Ruth (Cheeney) Miller. She grew up in South Glens Falls and attended South Glens Falls Senior High School. She graduated through the BOCES program as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1978. In 1982 she moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where she attended TCU and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1988. She was a pediatric nurse with Cook Children's hospital (formerly Fort Worth Children's) for over 20 years.
She was an incredible home chef and greatly skilled at quilting and crocheting. Michele thoroughly enjoyed caring for her family and those around her. She loved cats and children. She was a wonderful homemaker and an expert at creating a warm and welcoming setting. She was known for her annual assorted Christmas cookies, which she made from scratch and gifted to friends, family, and neighbors.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, John C Miller Jr., as well as two nephews, Garret Ball who passed in 2020, and Joe DeVivo who passed in 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Martha Dolly with partner Misael Gonzales, as well as her son, Cameron Miller Dolly. She is also survived by her sisters, Jackie Pyke and husband Bill, Sherri DeVivo and husband Joseph, Marie Ball and husband Jon, her brother Harold Miller with fiancee Angel Dzialo, by many nieces and nephews, and by her cousin & closest friend Stacey Groome.
A private celebration of life ceremony will be held with her family and loved ones. Donations may be made to Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, or to Claire's Place - a foundation for patients of Cystic Fibrosis, in honor of her work with patients of the illness.
