February 17, 1979 - July 26, 2021
Fort Worth, Texas - Miguel "Mickey" Chavez, 42 passed away on Monday July 26, 2021. Visitation: Monday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Amalla. Service: Tuesday 10 a.m. Burial: Greenwood. Miguel was full of life, always smiling and never letting anything steal his smile away. Family was the most important thing in his life. His nieces and nephews where his eyes and he took care of them like they were his. Miguel was someone anyone could go and talk to him with a problem and he knew exactly what to say. Miguel loved to draw, tattoo, and was a Cowboys fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, San Juana Chavez. He is survived by father, Ramon Chavez Sr.; brothers, Ramon Jr and Ignacio "Nacho" Sr Chavez; Nieces and Nephews: Isabel Chavez, Ignacio Chavez Jr and Tomas Chavez.

This young man had a way about him that is hard to explain. My first encounter with him will always leave an impression. It's been such a long time that someone with such respect, love, and kindness has appeared before me. They say he was a legend, i couldn't agree more, but I will go one step further and proclaim him to be a prodigy. There is no one like him that possessed such a selfless quality as he did. This is one life I will never understand the reason it was cut so short. I've always been one to find a positive in any awful situation, but this one leaves me dumbfounded, which deepens the sorrow. Mickey, Thank you for the time you gave, and not only did you leave an imprint in life, but it will also be felt by so many in death. If only one wish could be granted, I would give it to you. As bad as this one hurts everyday...it's nothing compared to the pain the family feels and for them I pray for much comfort & healing...& guidance as they wander searching for a place of peace. Much love to you Mickey...

You'll be missed Mickey. I'll always remember you doing my first tattoo, freestyle. It was Ramon, Nacho, you and me. We were watching Blood in blood out, in the apartment at park place. It was supposed to say something completely different than what it did, lol. But I'll never forget you or the crazy times we shared. Rest in peace My Brother. God bless you Always Mickey Chavez.
