I was very saddened to learn of Dr. Mohammed Yousuffuddin, brillant surgeon and my friend. I stood along side him when he was sworn in as an American Citizen. We formed a triumvirate, Youssuff, as his friends called him, Dr. John Brown and myself.
Youssuff and I both joined Palmetto Surgical Associates in 1977. Youssuf has been my yardstick of surgical excellence. He was always there to help when I needed him. I miss our conversations about difficult cases. God gave him miraculous hands and he always used them well. I will miss the big guy.

I worked with Dr. Yousuf in the operating room for many years. He was by far one of the best surgeons I've ever met. His skills were only surpassed by his kindness. I have so many fond memories of him.

Sad to read of Dr. Yousuf´s passing. My father lived over 20+ years after Dr. Yousuf removed his lung cancer. I will never forget that. Heartfelt condolences to family and friends.

Yousuf was a much-loved mentor of mine. He had an almost mystical combination of surgical skill and judgment, combined with grace, allowing him to produce lovely outcomes from impossible situations. There is a sudden great loneliness, knowing that he is no longer among us. My sincere condolences to his family.
