Monroe Tahmahkera Obituary

Monroe Tahmahkera, 74, a retired electrician, died Sunday, March 3, 2002.

Funeral: 9 a.m. Friday at Harrell Memorial Chapel. Burial: 1 p.m. in D/FW National Cemetery.

A member of the Comanche Tribe of Oklahoma, he was great-grandson of Quana Parker and a Marine veteran of World War II.

Survivors: Wife, Sandra of Dublin, Texas; sons, Steve of California and Lance of Fort Worth; daughter, Karen of Fort Worth; stepchildren, Leona Yager, Craig Williams, Tosawi Marshall, all of Fort Worth, Russell Yager, Trina Nelson, Rene Mathis, all of Cedar Creek Lake; sisters, Marjorie Padapony of Lawton Okla., Wilda O'Keeth of New York; brothers, Marvin and Garrison; uncles and aunt, Spencer, and Vance and Anna.
