Michael, Mrs. Marrs and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Marrs. Two things always stuck with me regarding Mr. Marrs. First was the "I love Hiney Wine" bumper sticker on the back of his van...Don't ask me why I remember it, but I do. The secont deals with a spring turkey hunting trip my dad, Mr. Marrs, Michael and I went on. We'd all gotten up early to hunt sunday morning before heading back to town for one of Michael's Bluebomber soccer games. So, we all set of in different directions to hunt. About 10:30am my dad and I come walking back camp to the van, open up the back of the van, and see Mr. Marrs and Michael snoring away. Apparently they'd thought it was too cold and went back to the warm van. Long story short, we realized that the time had changed (spring forward) Saturday night and what we thought was 10:30am was actually 11:30am, causing us to break all traffic laws in order to get Michael back in time for is soccer game. He was a good man and will surely be missed.
On behalf of the Crowder family, our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.
Regards,
Kimberly Pace

Dear Marrs family,
I was saddened to run across this news today. I remember Mr. Marrs fondly from my younger days on Glenbrook Dr. and playing soccer with Michael (Blue Bombers!). Although I hadn't seen him in quite awhile, I well remember his friendliness from the neighborhood.
My best to the family
