Nancy Hammonds Obituary
August 30, 1946 - April 20, 2022
Haslet, Texas - Nancy Hammonds, 75, of Haslet, TX, passed away on April 20, 2022.
Nancy was born to Fran and Everett Jones on August 30, 1946, in Sterling, Colorado.
Nancy was a graduate of Texas Tech University and received a Master's degree from University of North Texas. Nancy touched countless lives through teaching primarily at L.D. Bell High School and Keys Learning Center.
Nancy was a kind, loving and devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was cherished by all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Vernon Hammonds; her children Greg Hammonds and Brian Hammonds; her brother, Bob Jones and spouse, Pam; her sister Barbie Robinson; her grandchildren Kate, Karoline, and Henley Hammonds.
There will be a Celebration of Life on May 15, 2022, at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church of Hurst.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.

Our deepest condolences to Greg, Brian, & Vernon. Nancy was a wonderful loving person, mom & teacher. She and Vernon always made me feel so welcome when I would visit. She definitely made an impression on my & many lives and I will always be grateful. She will be so missed and I´m honored to have known her. With much love & sympathy...the Marshalls.
