Fort Worth, Texas - Nell Tinkle Gould of Fort Worth, Texas, passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus in the early morning hours of January 16, 2022. Nell was born in Memphis, TN, on November 12, 1933; and her family moved to Dallas, TX, in 1951, where she met George Tinkle, Jr., at a singles class at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. They were married 51 years at the time of George's death and had 3 daughters.
Nell married William M. Gould, Jr., in April 2008, and they moved to the current residence of Trinity Terrace in Fort Worth, where they found a wonderful community. Nell was fully loved and enjoyed by all who knew her. She was a gentle and caring soul who worked diligently behind the scenes to make the world a better place. She was involved in the ministries of the Presbyterian church in Dallas and Fort Worth. She enjoyed reading, working at the White Elephant, and being with her family and friends.
Nell is survived by her husband, Bill, sister Sara Muse, daughters Teri Morales, Lisa Tilson and husband Mike, and Dana McLain and husband Scott. She has 5 grandchildren: Rachel Morales Gregory and husband Ryan, Daniel Morales and wife Madi, Will McLain and wife Hillary, Matt McLain, and Casey Tilson. She was also blessed with 3 great grandchildren: Cooper and Quade McLain, and Violet Morales. Bill has 4 children who accepted her with open arms: Susan Marum and husband Steve, William Gould, III, and wife Janis, John Gould and wife Elise, and Kate Faulk and husband Russ.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Trinity Terrace Foundation at 1600 Texas Street, Fort Worth, TX, 76102, or to a charity of choice.
