Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Granbury Church of Christ. Burial: Rough Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Arthritis Foundation or Granbury Church of Christ.
Nettie was born Feb. 6, 1913, in New Nata, Ark., to John and Mary Cooper Copeland. She married Silas Allen on Dec. 12, 1929, in Tolar. He passed away in 1993. She made quilts and loved to garden and cook. She was a member of Granbury Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and five sisters.
Survivors: Sons, Lee Roy Allen and Donald R. Allen of Weatherford; daughters, Edith W. Allen and Carolyn Myres of Granbury and Sandra Mason of Aledo; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and brother, M.L. Copeland of Burleson.
