Norma Wilkerson Obituary

Norma Jean Medley Wilkerson, 66, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in
Whitney, the Rev. Tim Coop officiating.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of choice.
Jean was born March 21, 1941, in Vashti to Thomas and Mae Barnett Medley. She grew up in Ringgold and graduated from Goldberg High School in 1949 as valedictorian of the class. On Dec. 30, 1960, she married Royce Wilkerson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, Jerry and Eddie Ray Medley.
Survivors: Husband, Royce; children, Kevin and Pat Wilkerson of Fort Worth, Keith Wilkerson of Whitney; brothers, Thomas and Nena Medley and Bobby and Nadene Medley of Irrigon, Ore.; sisters, Marlene and Bob Miller of Nocona and Sandy McWhorter and Jerry of Celeste; and grandsons, James Wilkerson of Arlington and Cody Wilkerson of Whitney.
