Oline Williams Ross Baker, 99, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Benbrook. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Benbrook. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideons Memorial, P.O. Box 2956, Thomasville, Ga., 31799. Oline was born June 17, 1917, in Oglesby to William and Annie Holtzclaw Williams, the only girl of 10 children. She was a longtime resident of Benbrook, owning one of the first brick homes in Benbrook. She was the last active charter member of First Baptist Church in Benbrook, where she taught children's Sunday school for over 50 years. Oline sold Avon for 50 years, achieving top sales awards for several years. She loved cooking and baking for others. Oline was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilson Ted Ross and G.E. "Buddy" Baker; children, Carol Voyles, Helen Ross and Roy "Butch" Ross; grandchildren, Debra Brown and Douglas Tuggle; brothers, Willie, Mallie, Burthel, Floyd, Jessie, W.L. "Boots," Jay and Joe Williams. Survivors: Daughter, Jo Ann Tuggle; grandchildren, Freddie Voyles (Cindy), Pam Walrath (Bill), Glen Tuggle, Laura Ross (Jackie), Dana Harris, Joanna Broadnax (Eric); brother, Wendell Williams; 14 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
