Patsy Stewart Cain CLEBURNE--Patsy Stewart Cain, 90, of Cleburne passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, in Godley Cemetery. Reverend John Glover officiating. Visitation: was 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Funeral Home. Patsy was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Grandview to W.E. and Gladys Bernice Porter Stewart. She married Herman Logan "H.L." Cain on Nov. 28, 1946, in Cleburne; he preceded her in death on March 15, 2013. Patsy had worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell for six years. Patsy was quick-witted, an I-Pad enthusiast and an avid reader. She was called "MawMaw" and known for her family tradition of Sunday dinners at her home, including holiday gatherings. She was the best candy maker ever. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H.L. Cain; siblings, Vernon Dale Stewart, Donald Leon Stewart and Emma Jean Green. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her daughters, Linda Cain (Eddie), Karen Duckett (Gary) and Gaye Hampton (Harold); granddaughters, Amy Corallo (Joey), Abby Hanish (Joe), and April Hampton (Jason); grandsons, Douglas Cain Hampton (Julie), Brad Gaither (Tifani) and Doug Gaither (Aly); 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sibling, Marjorie Henson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of others, including her other girls, Nancy Foley and Evelyn Patrick Witt.
